Lovely Floral Jacquard Midi Dress

Wish I would’ve had a review to reference. I’ve been on the hunt for a derby party dress and this is/was perfect!! Material is stunning. The dress is quality. I am 148 lbs. 5’ 6” and ordered a large. I am a consistent medium in all my clothes. Size 6-8 in pants. I can’t even come close to zipping up the back of this dress. The cups and EVERYTHING else fits and lays perfectly but this sucker is small! I have to return and wish I could pay Nordstrom for overnight shipping to get XL but it’s not an option :( just heads up when ordering online.

I was so worried about the sizing of this dress after reading other reviews, but went with my normal size and it fit fine. I'm 5'3, 135ish lbs, and usually wear a small, medium, 4, or 6. The dress is super flattering and is made with gorgeous, quality fabrics. There are stretchy mesh panels on the sides of the dress that give it some stretch. It zipped with no issues on me! The dress is a little longer on me than the model, and the straps on the shoulders seem a little long and may need tailoring. All in all, it's a beautiful dress!

I bought this dress for a family member’s wedding next weekend. I received the package today, but it was the wrong dress. I called customer service and spoke with someone who put me on hold for 20 minutes before I ultimately hung up. This person has my contact information. so I was somewhat expecting a call back…(waiting)……(still waiting). Oh well. I will find another dress, but I’ve never had CS issues like this with Nordstrom before, which is a bummer. Hopefully it’s just a one time deal.
