Lovely Floral Jacquard Midi Dress

I was so worried about the sizing of this dress after reading other reviews, but went with my normal size and it fit fine. I'm 5'3, 135ish lbs, and usually wear a small, medium, 4, or 6. The dress is super flattering and is made with gorgeous, quality fabrics. There are stretchy mesh panels on the sides of the dress that give it some stretch. It zipped with no issues on me! The dress is a little longer on me than the model, and the straps on the shoulders seem a little long and may need tailoring. All in all, it's a beautiful dress!

Wish I would’ve had a review to reference. I’ve been on the hunt for a derby party dress and this is/was perfect!! Material is stunning. The dress is quality. I am 148 lbs. 5’ 6” and ordered a large. I am a consistent medium in all my clothes. Size 6-8 in pants. I can’t even come close to zipping up the back of this dress. The cups and EVERYTHING else fits and lays perfectly but this sucker is small! I have to return and wish I could pay Nordstrom for overnight shipping to get XL but it’s not an option :( just heads up when ordering online.

This dress is beautiful. It does run small. I’m usually a medium in most clothing, sometimes a small, but this one was really tight in the medium, other than that, it was perfect. I started getting compliments as soon as I walked out of my car.

I bought this dress for a family member’s wedding next weekend. I received the package today, but it was the wrong dress. I called customer service and spoke with someone who put me on hold for 20 minutes before I ultimately hung up. This person has my contact information. so I was somewhat expecting a call back…(waiting)……(still waiting). Oh well. I will find another dress, but I’ve never had CS issues like this with Nordstrom before, which is a bummer. Hopefully it’s just a one time deal.

I have been an extra small in every dress by this brand. It’s like they put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari. The dress is beautifully made, and the entire integrity of the dress is ruined by the cheap plastic zipper. The dress is supposed to cinch your waist, but it contradicts the dress because you literally cannot zip it up even if it’s the right size for you because the zipper cannot maintain the fabric and bodice. You can only zip it when it’s off of your body. I needed this dress for a wedding and I had to get it altered last minute and literally had the zipper replaced. This dress makes me question ever house of CB dress purchase I will ever purchase again and it’s my fourth dress. Their quality has gone downhill.

I always like to start on a positive note, and this dress definitely deserves one. It’s absolutely gorgeous—the detailing is beautiful, especially on the top part, which was my favorite. It has a lovely vintage feel that really stands out. That said, the sizing was very disappointing. It doesn’t just run small—it runs extremely small. I usually wear an XS or S, but I couldn’t even zip up the size S I ordered. I would recommend sizing up to at least a medium, or even a large, for a better fit.
