Loving this YSL!

This bag is so versatile, especially in the color dark smog that I purchased it in. It’s almost like navy, black, and grey all mixed into one very neutral color. I feel I can wear this bag with a variety of outfits, from day to night and everything in between. I also love the adjustable strap. The first photo is of me with it on the longest setting and the second photo is with the middle hole (which is most comfortable for me). I am 5’4” and about 160lbs for reference. I was really waiting for this bag to come in stock in the black and gold hardware style. I decided I couldn’t wait and I already have the YSL LouLou bag in black. I’m so glad I went with dark smog, it really is an amazing color. Highly recommend getting before there is another price increase!!

Poor Quality

I am a loyal Nordstrom shopper and rarely write reviews. I am so disappointed with this purchase that I felt the need to make buyers beware! The quality of this handbag makes me question if it is really leather. It arrived in a black dust cover without any of the typical credentials to assure authenticity. I have several designer handbags and have never had the piping or leather destruct in a matter of days. I made this purchase specifically for the NCAA tournament because it met the size requirements of the arena. I carried it twice and noticed that the piping and top leather was looking frayed. By the end of the second day, this (see photo) is what it looked liked. I feel like the quality control for luxury merchandise has slipped over the past few years and really hope that Nordstrom steps it up to the prior level.

top misshapen

I decided on this for fancier day bag but honestly I have to agree that it’s low quality . Top part were raised up little bit . If you take the logo out , it’s basically Zara bag. Zara has better quality leather pieces now so it’ll be even insult to them . I will be returning. Also didn’t come with any ysl paperwork , only dust bag. Most designer bags includes authentication paperwork and little care instructions , this one didn’t have anything . I know it’s cheaper bag but still . I favored the positive reviews and ordered navy one but I’m not excited about this at all

Pretty bag...not the best quality

I fell in love with the color of this bag and ordered it immediately! I was so surprised when it arrived and it felt nothing like I thought it would. The quality is just not what you’d expect for a bag this price. It literally feels like any regular store brand leather bag, and to be honest, they felt better. I just couldn’t justify keeping this bag because the price and quality don’t even come close to matching. Very disappointed. The two stars are for the size and color...that’s it.

Classic shape and style

I just bought this bag, so I’m not sure on it’s wear and life over a period of time, but it’s very pretty and elevates my style ( I’m pretty casual) so I love that aspect. I cant say I love the feel of the leather ( it feels kinda cheap) and I’ve read reviews and watched some YT videos that say uh have to baby the leather. I think what you’re paying for is the YSL logo but so far it’s pretty

Beautiful Bag!!!

I received this purse today!! I’m so super excited and it did not disappoint. The exterior is nice and soft and surprisingly this purse is also roomy! I can fit my wallet, keys , phone and lipstick. It’s really a beautiful purse- can’t wait to carry it this weekend. The only downside is that I bought it online and it did come with a dust bag, but no pretty Saint Laurent box (if that exists) . I keep my bags in their boxes so I was a little sad!
