Longchamp
In 1948, Jean Cassegrain turned his Paris tobacco shop—where he was known to cover his pipes in an exquisite leather—into an accessories business. Named after the famed horse track on the outskirts of Paris, Longchamp is still family owned and operated, creating superbly crafted handbags and luggage lauded for a decidedly understated, always chic look.

Perfect crossbody
This is exactly what you want for a trip to Europe - by a renowned European brand, with all the class and functionality. The placement and variety of pockets is well thought out, and the capacity is quite impressive. Look no further!

Not worth the money
I felt compelled to write this review after seeing the bag in person and deciding it was definitely not for me. I was going to order this online, and I felt confident from the other glowing reviews. However, the bag was available at my local Nordstrom, so I went to see it in person. I would like to note that I would have considered 2 stars if this bag wasn't nearly $400! I judge these items for their price range. That is an expensive bag, especially for something so small. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe how cheap it looked and felt. The leather strap is stiff and feels like bad fake leather. It had been warped from being stuffed in the bag. Because the straps feel like plastic, I doubt the kinks will come out easily. I'm 5.5 in hight and a size 2-4 for reference. This bag sits really low on me, too low. So I tried to adjust the sides to shorten the strap. It was nearly impossible to do; I could only change one side. While I like that it doesn't have a buckle, the strap is so stiff that when adjusted, you get these big circles coming up on the side.
I did like how close the bag sits to the body. It seemed perfect and understate in pictures. In person, it looks like a bag that should not cost $395. There are leather, understated bags in that price range that I would pick over this one. I realize this might sound overly critical. If you're buying a bag in the $300-$600 range, I would guess you want a high quality bag, but you don't prioritize saving an extra 600 for a super designer purchase. Or you like a mix of bags for different settings, weather, etc. I get that. But this feels and looks like a bag that didn't have enough thought put into it. It looks like Longchamp is riding on their good reputation before their bags were mass produced in China. I've purchased the Roseau from Longchamp. That's a great bag, and worth the price in my opinion. This is not.

My Travel Companion
I shopped long and hard for a small, top-quality, cross-body bag for travel. I required a supple material that makes it easy to access the contents of the bag, an interior zippered pocket for security, and an exterior pocket for tucking in maps and other travel info. The bag also had to be small and comfortable enough to wear constantly. This little bag served me well on a four week trip. It’s just big enough for a phone, passport, cards and money, a lipstick and a few pages torn out of a guidebook. No regrets!

Love it.
I got this bag in black. It's a great sturdy, high-quality looking bag. Understated and has great versatility for different occasions that will match mostly anything! This will be a bag you can use for years without worrying about it going out of style...instant classic. Happy customer!

Beautiful and practical
I have been searching for a brown crossbody for a while. Was thinking to find a less expensive one, but after looking at features of different brands, I came back to Longchamp because it''s only one has an exterior slip pocket at the back, which is a must for me to wear a crossbody bag. It has plenty room inside for essential items. The brown color is beautiful, rich and pretty much goes with everything I can wear. I have several Longchamp bags. I am always impressed by its leather quality, craftsmanship, and design. This one hit the mark again. However, there are two designs I wish can be better: 1) although the strap is adjustable, it is very difficult to do it. I bent my nails back to get the strap out of one stud and put it into another one, it was so tight. The 2nd one I had to ask my husband to do it for me to avoid hurting my nails again, would be nicer if can do it easier. 2) I prefer magnetic closure rather than snap one. The snap is not the most easy one to open either. I'd probably just leave the snap open most of the time.
