Tried to like this — amazingly unflattering “snug” fit. What happened to the wonderful loose turtlenecks of last year? Only “mock” now. Why?

Really slim fit
The quality of material is nice and the turtleneck drapes nicely but this top is a really slim fit item. I prefer a more relaxed style. This fits like a typical slim fit turtle neck top with some added stretch. Unlike other Eileen Fisher items, this top is on a slimmer and more traditional side but at designer' clothing price.

warm but the sleeves are too short
The fabric feels wonderful, both soft and toasty. I usually wear a size S in Eileen Fisher tops, but I ordered a size L after reading about how narrow the cut is. It would have been far too tight if I had ordered my normal size. The two sizes up was comfortable, not skin tight. The biggest disadvantage is that the sleeves are quite short; compared to the previous season's turtleneck, the sleeves on this top are roughly two inches shorter, so it barely covers my wrist. I had to pull my sleeves down during the day. As a result, I have a mixed opinion.
