Needing water protection and warmth; this coat boasts 650-fill for a decent price.
Sized up to XX-large- sz 16 to go easily over heavier sweaters. Zipper is heavy-duty and works well when
the tip is firmly seated at bottom of coat. Two way zipper to ease tension when seated.
Got lighter color, Abalone - light tan vs. black for better visibility.

Poor Fabric
I feel that the display is not a correct representation of what the jacket really does look like. However, the bottom of the jacket has a very weird fabric and it attracts any piece of lint to it so it always looks sloppy.

This is a beautiful, elegant down jacket. It is the perfect length to keep you warm in a storm, and it's waterproof! The style is slimming, and the jacket is very light weight. It arrived in a small box, which demonstrated that it would pack nicely without taking up a lot of room. I plan to enjoy this jacket for many years.

Warm and water proof without bulk
This coat seems perfect, it covers my hips and has a great hood. I wanted something warm, water resistant, not bulky and longer on the body for the pacific northwest visits. I am 5'10' tall and bought an XL to accomodate sweaters or layers underneath.
