Lizzie Ankle Strap Platform Sandal

This shoe is so comfortable!! I love everything about it except that the color of the "rose" leans a bit darker to a wine color. It's not a deal breaker for me but it does limit the summer dresses I planned to wear with these shoes.

Why do I shop at Nordstrom? Quality, outstanding customer service, easy (ish) returns. I trust Nordstrom. I ordered these shoes on Tuesday night, they shipped on Wednesday, I received them on Thursday at 2:30pm amazing! Except I also witnessed the Ontrac delivery person run through my grass and flower bed to get to my front porch instead of taking three steps to walk on the path. About the shoes, great color, love saddle they call luggage. I don't know anything else because they sent me a used pair of shoes for $169.12. There are toe marks like in Birkenstocks, the leather is scratched and broken in. The leather on the ankle straps are marked up at the buckle from adjusting. And they arrived in a box with no paper around the shoe, no paper to support the staps. No care at all. Maybe they were the pair on display but I don't want a used pair of shoes in any capacity especially at full price. And they smell like perfume. Now I have to drive them to Rack to return since they closed our local Nordstrom (a couple years ago and I'm still bitter) And the Rack sales people are going to ask me if I wore these because they do that now, and I'm going to say no, but will they believe me? I’m pregnant and I normally only wear flats (wide feet and zero tolerance for uncomfortable shoes), but I need something with a heel to lengthen my rounding silhouette. It took one day to break them in, but after that first day they have been incredibly comfortable, even for relatively long walks from the office to lunch. The pad at the ball of my foot provides cushion and support, even with the extra weight I’m carrying. They are so cute and so comfortable, I’m going to buy them in more colors and will definitely buy more from this brand in the future.

I'm normally wear a 6.5 in sandals and 7 or 7.5 in sneakers. I bought the 6.5 and 7 in the saddle color to compare and settled on the size 7, however... I had to order a second size 7 because the first pair I received were extremely scuffed. They were not previously worn, but the leather just seems so delicate that they just have scuff marks all over - like if you touch them with your nail or they touch each other in the box, you're getting a visible scuff mark or discoloration! I ended up keeping the 7 because the style is cool and they are truly very comfortable in the sole and with the velcro strap.

So sorry- these shoes came damaged with scratches/dents on the heel and across the top of the straps. They also didn't come close to fitting me properly. I DO have challenged feet, so there is that...
