Great Shampoo
This is a wonderful Shampoo That smells so good and works well for my Long,wavy fine textured hair.
I am a licensed hairdresser and have access to professional products but this one works better for me than any Salon quality shampoo I have bought.

More like Dry Hair Day
I had high hopes for this shampoo (and the conditioner) but sadly it just left my hair a straw-like mess. And I don't even have really dry hair to begin with!!
The smell is a bit strong, but not horribly overpowering and the lather is good for a sulfate-free shampoo.
I was just very surprised that the shampoo left my hair feeling kind of chalky and dried out. (This wasn't improved by the conditioner at all.)
I think maybe if you live in an area with hard water, sulfate-free can end up being worse for your scalp and hair health than traditional shampoo. That's the only thing I can think of that might be a reason why Living Proof hasn't worked for me (this is the third shampoo I've tried from them with the similar results.)
Bottom line: My hair didn't feel cleaner, longer. It felt drier. And like it had some kind of waxy, dry, chalky coating on it. It lacked luster and shine and when I went back to my normal shampoo and conditioner, it looked healthy and shiny again. Hard water might not mix with Living Proof, but most areas have hard water, so not really a good selling point!

Unruly hair now tamed
I love this shampoo- I have wavy hair that is unruly and many times blow it out straight to keep it under control! I’ve had trouble lately with my hair looking flat after a blowout, but after I changed to Perfect Hair Day shampoo, my hair looks fuller, smoother and it’s much easier to get a controlled yet bouncy blowout.

drying- if you can get it out of the bottle
I've been using this with the shampoo for about two months on and off. I have fine but medium thickness, infrequently colored hair. This made my hair feel brittle and dry; I've since reverted back to my drugstore brand. The formula is so thick, you have to add water before you wash your hair- the bottle is poorly designed so the contents are difficult to remove, especially so when the bottle is half gone. I think this shampoo/conditioner smell amazing, but are exorbitantly expensive for the product and design failures.

Living Proof PHD Shampoo: Rise and Shine
My color treated, fine, sometimes dry hair feels, looks and smells great with this shampoo, especially when I use the PHD conditioner and treatment. Sometimes I also use a Living Proof hair mask before washing. My hair looks smooth, manageable and has lots of body when I use PHD. I can go for third day hair alone or with a dry shampoo to freshen up. Between coloring, my hair can look dull. PHD products are a good wake up call for dull, dry hair to rise and shine. I tried the travel kit first, that convinced me. Great products.
