Lovely Silk Christening Shoes
Beautiful, very sweet little shoes! The color is a warm, creamy white. There is pretty embroidery and a little white rosebud on the top of the shoe, and the edges are bound with the same silk bias binding, which tie in a bow around the baby's ankle. The inside is lined with soft flannel.
My great granddaughter wore them without socks on a warm August morning, with the hand crocheted Christening dress I made for her. She is two months old, I bought the size one and they fit her perfectly! She didn't kick them off, the way she has all of her other socks and booties.
I highly recommend these lovely little shoes! Along with the dress, they will be a wonderful heirloom to pass down to her children and grand children!
