Lise Polka Dot Chiffon Dress

I ordered this dress in my usual size 8, and it ran significantly small. The fit was extremely tight through the waist and bust—definitely recommend sizing up at least one size.I was also disappointed in the quality. The fabric feels thinner than expected and not as well-made as other Reformation pieces I’ve owned in the past. For the price, I expected better construction and overall feel.The print and style are beautiful, but between the sizing issues and the decline in quality, this one was a miss for me.

I was excited to find a cute summer dress with sleeves, but back this goes! The fabric is thin and feels cheap, and it’s oddly tight and loose at the same time, and super low cut. I normally wear a 4 or 6 in Reformation and ordered an 8 based on reviews. I could have gotten away with it but it didn’t lay right and pulled in odd spots. Strangely, the 10 was even tighter.

The fit and execution of this dress was awful. The dress itself was the right size and actually was a little big, I thought I could size down, but the minute you move an inch it’s a disaster. The buttons kept gapping open - exposing my bra/skin in the chest and rib area even though it was not tight at all (very confusing). The material was cheap and had no give, especially the sleeves.

I normally wear a small and am very thin. I ordered in both a size 4 and 6. Both sizes fit exactly the same except the v-neck on the size 6 was so low a camisole would be needed. I was barely able to button either size as the width is so tiny it is out of proportion to the rest of the dress. Shoulder fit and length were the same on both sizes. Returning.
