Liplux^® Original Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Lip Balm

I wanted to give this a try even though I'm not the biggest supporter of lip balms. But I also need my lips to feel moisturized and hydrated, so why not? This lip balm is water resistant, dermatologist tested and made with organic ingredients. It sounds great but my experience with this lip balm was not great. This lip balm has a weird scent to it. It is like a vintage sunscreen scent. The texture feels good and soft. It is very lightweight so it is like I didn't apply anything on my lips. I need hydrating or moisturizing results from a lip product. I didn't get it with this lip balm. After some time, I had to wipe it off from my lips because I couldn't stand the awful taste. It had a chemical bitter taste that made me nauseous. It was easy to remove it because it is not water resistant. I like that it has good sun protection but I don't trust this lightweight product outside. Do I love something about it? I love the protective and easy to open packaging of the lip balm. But I cannot recommend this product to people due to not having a good flavor. This product was provided for promotional purposes in exchange for my honest review.

It takes a moment to warm up on the lips before it glides on smoothly, which is something I wasn’t expecting. While I wish the initial application felt softer, I do appreciate the subtle shine it adds to my lips. Overall, I think this lip balm has some amazing qualities, particularly its stylish packaging and water-resistant formula. There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of texture, but I’m still impressed with the overall product!
