Lip2Cheek Lip & Cheek Color

Demure is a very blue based rosy pink, flattering to almost any skin tone. Beloved is a punchy coral with a neutral undertone so it flatters most people, too. The formula is great once it warms to the skin (I use my fingertips to apply it on my cheeks and I even use the leftover Demure on my lids!) It just works in perfect synergy with the skin and looks like it's lit from within. Just a truly seamless, gorgeous finish. Lasts a very long time, too. A full day without re-application for me, even straight over moisturizer. I don't agree that this is a good lip color, though. It's almost like the opposite result on the lips...much harder to work into the lip tissue and looks like it's sitting on top unless the lips are absolutely perfectly prepped without a hint of dry skin at all. Even then, it's still hit and miss. I'd still recommend it, though.

I purchased this in Diabolique and it is PERFECT! I have been on the hunt for a lip balm/stain that would give me a 'just bitten' look for bloody ages and this does exactly that. I dab it on my lips with my ring finger and it achieves that look with essentially a single layer. More layers and I get more of a statement lip. Whatever is left on my finger I use for my cheeks and it gives a nice wind-whipped look. I am an NC40-ish/C5 and this shows up beautifully on my tanned skin. Don't be afraid of how intense it looks in the pot because it sheers out quite nicely! When it is cold the balm is quite stiff and when it is warm some oils rise to the surface and it becomes much more slippery. I find it neither drying nor hydrating and have not noticed any adverse affects on my lips or cheeks.

So delighted to see Nordstrom carrying RMS Beauty! The Lip2Cheek is my favorite product; I use the Smile shade as blush and lip color. It's a lovely peachy-pink shade that is great with my light, warm coloring. Stays on as cheek color ALL day---through workouts, naps, everything! As a lip color it needs touch-ups and it also needs a gloss on top for me, as it's a bit drying. Awesome for travel and to have in your purse makeup bag. I apply with a flat foundation brush, but fingers would work also.

Nice lip and cheek product, but drying. I bought shades Illusive and Diabolique. Illusive is a dark, burnt rose shade - very flattering on fair skin and easy to wear on lips and cheeks. The color doesn't last that long and it did dry my lips out a lot, so sadly I no longer use it. Diabolique is a very deep, red burgundy shade. It takes a lot of applications to build up the color, and it's hard to accurately apply such a deep shade with your finger. A nice idea, but they are pricey and the formula really isn't perfect.

I read about RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek color in a magazine article sometime in 2017, and I finally decided to give it a try. So glad I did! I selected the color Illusive, because the magazine article specified this particular shade as being a good option for women over 50. The color is a nice blend of rose and wine, and it adds a natural touch of blush to your coloring--not too harsh, just right. It glides on easily. (It did wear off after a few hours but is compact and easy to take along with you, so just throw it in your purse like I did and dab on a little more later on in the day to refresh your look.) A good product!

Several months ago I set out to not only "green" up my makeup bag, but also to simplify my beauty routine and overall just sort of de-clutter. So RMS Beauty with their organic, good-for-the-skin, multi-use products was one of the first brands I turned to. They do not disappoint! I am a huge fan of the whole line. The lip2cheek products are designed, as the name implies, to be used as both lipstick and cream blush, and they do work wonderfully as both. I do find that on my very dry, sensitive lips, it is best to use a lip balm underneath. On cheeks a tiny dot or two, blended out very well, is all it takes. They are very pigmented, and since you use so little, one small pot will last forever! My skin is very dry, so I find on my cheeks they last through my whole day. The coconut oil has not caused me any problems. Those with oily skin or coconut oil sensitivity may have differing experiences, of course. Dipping my (clean) fingers into the pot doesn't bother me, but for those that don't feel this is hygienic, RMS does have a little blush brush that works fantastically with this product, as would any lip brush. The color Illusive is my favorite- truly my "desert island" product. It gives a rosy glow to my cheeks and a my-lips-but-better effect lightly dabbed on my lips. It can easily be built up for more drama. Just what I wanted!
