Linen Blend Wrap Dress

I purchased this dress in a large for the pink dress and a medium for the green as I’m in between sizes. The medium is a little too small and the large is too big and fits like an extra large with extra material that’s not needed. I wanted to love the dress as it’s great material and not see through but the fit is so off putting that I will return both of them.

This could be designer quality. The top is correctly cut and the wrap portion is stunning. So well made and the dress is fully lined in cotton and the lining is sewn to the dress. However, the back of the dress so so weird. There are darts both top and bottom of the waistline in the back but they skimped on material in the skirt so it is incredibly cheapened by the fit of the dress over your butt. Sizing up almost makes it worse as the poor cut becomes more apparent. If they had added a side panel in the skirt that tapered towards the waist it would have been an impressive quality piece for Nordstrom brand! It needs that extra bit of room to balance the cap sleeve more elegantly.
