Daphne Floral Border Print Tunic Dress

Shame because I like the print but it's another Spring miss - the 3rd dress I'm returning which was a disappointment this Spring so far. The fabric is super light but cheap and thin. For a Spring style I'd expect more weight to the fabric which would help this caftan style. Unfortunately it feels like cheap pajamas. If this was a heavier weight quality fabric it would have worked better. There has to be a lining because the fabric is so thin - one layer of a higher quality fabric would have done the trick. Sadly the picture doesn't reveal how cheap this looks in person. You want it to be a nicer fabric for the price - but it isn't. The buttons are too far spaced so you get to show your bra to everyone. I am a size 10 and very disappointed in how small the arm cut is for the shoulder. For a "loose" style there isn't enough room in the bust so it gapes in the chest but is overly generous in the rest of the dress fabric. It's just cut strangely and not flattering - like Lilly has never made a size 10 dress before. This fabric is a wrinkled mess. It would make more sense in a summer print but this is Spring. This could have really been a lovely dress unfortunately yet again the higher sizes aren't getting the cut they deserve - you cannot just upgrade a straight-fit size 0 to a 10 - there has to be better sizing and design. Maybe if you're a size 10 with no chest. It's more like a pajama shirt - so if you just want to wear this around the house go ahead. I don't recommend more. Not worth the price. Go with another brand's tunic caftan styles if this is what you're after. Just poor quality control. Not what I expect from a Lilly item. Getting cheap here. Maybe I need to take a break from Lilly.
