Carlotta Maxi Dress

Love the dress. It's summery, bright and a really cute style. The dress does run big. I usually wear a size 4 but ended up getting a size 2 and still had it taken in from waist to knee. It is meant to be free flowing but it just seemed a bit too baggy. So I'd size down but love the style, color and look.

Beautiful maxi, fit well beautiful fabric. Long length needed to be hemmed.

Beautiful dress for casual or dressy occasion. Needs hemming and may need some taking in from the hips down if slimmer hips. Fabric is great for travel. Dress appears to be attractive for almost any type figure. Unusual color pattern which makes for it appropriate for that special event. Definitely buy one size down and still may need some alteration.

Beautiful print but runs large. Not lined and is definitely see through. Not sure if I can wear it out unless I have a very creative slip because the side slits go up pretty far. Fabric is polyester without much give, but soft and comfortable, I am tall and didn’t need to hem it but it is long, even for me. (5’10”)

I purchased this on a Limited Sale, if not, I don’t feel it’s worth the price. The price is only for the brand name. Polyester and not lined. Not the best from Lilly Pulitzer. This is good for just lounging around the house. The sizing is way off. I normally wear an 8 all around but noticed that Lilly has been running small so I tried a 10. Both were quite large and ended up with a 6. Only needed to chop off about 6” in the length and alterations took care of that.
