Light-Activated Glow Serum

Absolutely obsessed with HigherDOSE’s Light-Activated Glow Serum. I’ve been using it before my red light sessions and even on regular mornings, and my skin just looks way more awake, smooth, and glowy. It gives that healthy, lit-from-within look without feeling heavy or greasy, which I love because a lot of serums make me feel sticky. This one sinks in fast and layers really nicely under moisturizer and makeup too. After about a week I could defintely tell my skin was looking more even and soft. It’s one of those products that make you look like you actually have your life together lol. I was honestly skeptical at first but this serum are so worth it. Five stars from me.

I can also feel the thickness and protective barrier it provides as I'm preparing to use the red light therapy. My skin appears to be more radiant, like a soft glow. Bronzer is in my makeup routine but I haven't had to use it! I also tried just wearing the serum after moisturizing and it seems to do well once I add the makeup too. Like my foundation has been looking smooth and my skin overall has a healthier glow lifting the dullness it often has. My skin is an oily-dry combo so I can see differrences easily. I love how my skin instantly looked dewy and hydrated, the texture of this serum is a mix between glycerin and Aloe Vera gel. It feels cooling, rejuvenating, and makes my face look radiant and youthful. This serum activates with a red light, distributing vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, sea kelp, Niacinamide to name a few. These ingredients help to bring a glow to your skin and nourish it. It’s an innovative product that works in conjunction with red-light therapy, that was a first for me and I was happy with the results.

The price on this serum is most definitely steep. I recorded this product in exchange for a honest review. The packaging is high quality, which is a good sign for me usually. I’ve used this serum for a couple of weeks now after cleansing and using a toner. It definitely makes my skin look hydrated right after applying. It’s light weight and the texture is thin but hydrating. This can be used with or without a led treatment but is definitely more effective if you follow your application with one. It seems that a little goes a long way, so hopefully this will last a while and I can make a final decision about repurchasing. The price point and need for led treatment for optimal results is what throws me off but I understand this is what the brand is all about!
