Kascade Wedge Espadrille Sandal - Wide Width Available

Bought these shoes to wear on a trip to Europe. Was so excited to find they were comfortable enough to wear all day! Unfortunately, on the second day of wearing them, while walking around Paris, the roping around the bottom of the heel came loose and started to unravel. I had to stop at a store to borrow scissors to cut it off or I would have tripped over it. Very disappointed in how quickly this happened. These were my only pair of 'dressy' shoes, too.

When I received the shoes the first thing I noticed was how horribly heavy they were. The fit was ok but not very comfortable. I would not recommend them

I originally ordered the 8.5w but had to exchange for the 9w, so if you’re between sizes, I’d size up. I have a pretty high instep, and sadly the strap on these is just a little too tight. The strap is elastic but just not stretchy enough. After a full day wearing them, the strap was really digging into the top of my foot. I’m going to see if a shoe repair place can do anything (seriously another 1/4” would make a big difference!) but otherwise I’ll only be able to wear these for short periods of time. Other than that, they are very comfortable, so if you have a lower instep I’d definitely recommend!

I had high hopes for these espadrilles. Unfortunately, for my problem feet, these just are like wearing a concrete block on the comfort scale. But very cute looking. A bit large for the size.

I bought them in two colors! Should I say More?

Bought these for casual use with summer - they look great with light weight dresses for Church in the Texas heat.
