Fragrance story: L'Heure Verte is named after the traditional French equivalent of happy hour and opens on notes of absinthe essence, with an instant head twist into a nostalgic heart of violet leaf and licorice root absolute. Its dry-down articulates a unique and precisely chosen facet of patchouli that resonates throughout, blending into a trio of earthy woods along with vetiver and sandalwood. A first-time collaboration between Kilian Hennessy and French perfumer Mathieu Nardin, L'Heure Vert expresses Paris at its best—indulgent and life-changing in its luxurious and wonderful illusions.

I love a unisex fragrance that brings an air of mystery and nostalgia; Kilian does not disappoint! With top notes of absinthe this scent transports you back in time to glamorous Hollywood parties, ball gowns, tuxedos and big bands. The base notes of patchouli, votives and sandalwood make you think of a romantic Fall evening with a special person, your favorite cocktails with the fire crackling and leaves falling. This fragrance can be all things to all people looking for subtle, sexy, romantic and a timeless classic to leave the room wondering what are you wearing and how it lingers. pretty package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this perfume but everything about it just wasn’t for me. The packaging is the only thing I enjoyed from this product. It is beautifully packaged and is displayed in a clear spray decanter with a beautiful design. It will sit beautifully in a collection of scents. The scent however, is what drove me away from the product. It throws off a very strong patchouli, which is quite overpowering. I couldn’t even enjoy the scent as it dried. This gave me major headaches and I would not purchase this item on my own.

Captivating scent
I have always had my eye on the Kilian Love don’t be Shy scent, until I smelled this on someone on a summer night and KNEW that this would need to be added to my collection ASAP. It is a woody, aromatic lemongrass and musk scent perfect for all year around. The scent lasts and transforms into something so beautiful. Turns heads for sure. Looks stunning on my perfume stand on my dresser.

Overpowering!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this product I was taken back by the packaging and the beautiful perfume bottle. It reminds me of a crystal shot glass. The bottleKILIAN Paris L'Heure Verte Eau de Parfum definitely looks expensive! I really wanted to like this scent but it is extremely overpowering. The absinthe (licorice) makes me feel like an old person who is drinking a brandy. Definitely smells of alcohol which makes up for the French name “Happy Hour”. Smells as if I’ve had quite a few. My husband said this smells like something a rich grandma would wear.

strong musk!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was a beautiful scent but it didn’t match up with my pheromones - however my friend used it and it smelled amazing on her! definitely a luxury perfume where a little would go a long way! musky smell with black licorice undertones.
