Ribcage High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

These pants made a mid-to-late-30’s gal feel “with the times” without feeling like a total imposter. Hugged m me I’m the right places, and looked super cute with a form-fitting top. Added bonus- leg-elongating and butt crack-hiding (Jesus take the wheel if flaunting your “whale tale” outside of your jeans becomes a thing again.).

I love Levi's high-waisted jeans, but they always stretch out more than I want them to. I'm normally a 27 for mid-rise jeans and a 26 for high-waisted jeans, but I went for the 25 on these so that the waist continued to fit and the material was flattering on the shape of my butt. This makes them work out. Full disclosure that if you do this, getting them on the first time is a bit snug, but then they do their ‘stretch out’ thing and will fit perfectly for all wears after that. I swear this method is worth it though!

I LOVED everything about these but they were way to big so I had to send them back. I ordered a 25 and I probably need a 23. I am 110 lbs, 5’7 and usually a 25 in the Levi’s wedgie fit.

The jeans are super comfy and stylish. They are super long and will likely have to be hemmed ( unless you are like super model tall. My only complaint is that the Nordstrom Rack near me doesn’t provide alterations and I had to pay for alterations.

I have a small waist 28” in proportion to my hips 43”. These pants couldn’t even get over my thighs. No stretch. More for the girls who are straight without curves.
