'70s High Straight Leg Jeans

I LOVE THESE JEANS!!!! I am a huge fan of the Abercrombie 90s straight jeans and this pair of levis is identical to the always sold out, highly sought-after Abercrombie's. They have a nice amount of stretch in them which most levis don't have, they are more of a straight leg than a flare and look like classic nice denim. So cute and easily one of my favorite pairs of jeans I have ever purchased. I also normally wear a 25 in levis even though I am a 24 in most other jeans, but due to the stretch I ended up getting these in a 24, I wouldn't necessarily say to size down because the 25s weren't really that much bigger, but I wanted these jeans to be more fitted on me!

I am usually a 26 in Levi’s high rises but went ahead and ordered both a 26 and 27 after reading the reviews. I have a small waist and butt and long torso. The 26 arrived first and as soon as I pulled them out of the bag, I knew they’d fit. The waist gapped a little at the back but overall the fit was comfortable and flattering. After 2 wears, I wish I would have sized down to a 25. I’m 5’9” so the 31” inseam is perfect…I can cuff them if I want or leave the semi distressed hem showing. One thing to note about Levi’s…if they’re mostly cotton, you might need to break them in by wearing more than one time. A little discomfort at first means you get a pair of jeans that fits you exactly right forever. My only wish is that these had a button fly, the higher rise really requires the structure of a button fly to hold you in. I only took off 1 star because Levi is notorious for inconsistent sizing…even in the same cuts. Overall, this is a great closet staple that, like the perfect white tee, will never go out of style.
