Sexy, short, but trash construction!
I bought this dress to wear out on a date with an ex because I wanted to show him what he'd lost #pettyiknow. This dress did the job! It was just the right bit of sexy and it is super short like some of the other reviews have stated. Thick thighs and a nice rump look great in this dress. However, the issue I have is with the poor construction of this dress. First, I almost didn't get to wear it because once I put it on, a 4 inch hole developed in the side seam out of no where! I quickly got out my sewing machine and sewed the seam back together with some serious back stitching to make sure that the thing didn't fall apart on my date. Then later that night, the wrist area snagged on nothing!!! but the thing started to unravel! It now has a totally raw looking edge for one of the sleeves. Since I wore it and had to sew it up, I guess I can't return the thing, or I definitely would. If you are only going to wear it once, I guess you can give it a try. Otherwise, beware.

Not Dolman Sleeves - Not Flattering
This dress is super tight through the body and the lower arms, creating an odd marsupial effect connecting the upper arm to the mid section, nothing like the dolman sleeve I was expecting. I'm 5'3, 135lbs. Small was tight and dress was really short.

This dress is TTS. The bottom is very fitted and tight and top is supposed to be a looser fitting dolmen style. I am an xs and I order an xs and it fit perfectly.

Just like the photo
As you can see in the Nordstrom photos, the sleeves are a bat wing style. They didn't look great on me so I'm returning. It was a cool dress and the large fit like it should, but the slightly low cut and overall younger feel of the dress was a little too young for me at 53.
