Leather Bomber Jacket

The color is more beautiful in person, with the subtle plum tones coming through. The cut is lovely, not too boxy and not too cropped. Often Nordstrom house-brand products run large, this one is actually truer to size. I am a thicker 5'7 with broad shoulders and bigger arms. The Medium fit and would have been a very cute, snug look, but would have pulled across the chest if ever worn zipped up (I'm a 36D). That meant I'd never be able to wear it zipped. Wanting a more relaxed (but not oversized) look, I opted for the large for more of a men's-type fit. However, the biggest factor for me in sizing up is the unbelievably stupid choice to line this jacket with a cotton weave (like a jersey maybe) that will grab at any other clothes you are wearing like flannel sheets tearing at your pajamas. Normally liners are chosen for function, and are either fleece for warmth or a satin/silk texture for good slip. They picked a very cheap material, probably to keep cost down, that is a pretty careless choice. These sleeves will eat the sleeves of any shirt or sweater you are wearing underneath. While the exterior is luxurious, the interior construction cut corners.

Bulky fit, sleeves run long and leather feels like pleather. Returned.

The color of this jacket is exactly as pictured. The leather just feels a little too stiff.

Only gave it 4 stars because sleeves were too long but Nordstrom alterations can fix this easily. Thought the fit was a bit boxy but still cute on. Great basic to wear over sweaters with large ornate buttons. Definitely a keeper.

I love the cut, it’s comfy and not too cropped. The color is beautiful. I agree with the people who said the leather is a little stiff, I wouldn’t go so far as to say it feels/looks like pleather, but it looks a lot more supple in the online photos. I’m keeping it, though, as it’s a nice staple piece, and at the Anniversary Sale price, I didn’t expect it to feel like lambskin.

This is a nice bomber jacket. I ordered the off white/ivory in a medium and a large and the large gives me enough room for a bulky sweater underneath. It's a pretty ivory - it doesn't lean yellow like many do.
