My Search is Over!
Simply put this is the best stlying product, for my hair type, that I have ever used. I have a slightly mixed heritage thats led to a weird combination of extremely dense but very fine hair. On top of that I have a cowlick at the front of my hair that has forced me to style my hair a certain way, ever since I grew out of the buzz-haircut days of my childhood. I have tried nearly every hair paste, clay, and wax I could find on Amazon and popular grooming websites (probably near 100 products over the past 6-7 years) and this one is by far and away the best product I have ever used. Its extremely pliable and easy to work into both dry and wet hair, leaves virtually no shine whatsoever, and has great holding strength (7-10 hours depending on how much I put in.) One of the best hidden perks of this product is torwards the end of day (or earlier if you use less product) your hair takes takes on the extremely voluminous "post beach day" look, that some people use gallons of sea'salt spray and half an hour of hair drying time to achieve.
This product definitely works best with medium length hair, I have never tried it with long hair. It works very well with short hair as well but it can be deceiving. You have to trust the products hold because you will feel tempted to use more but unlike other products, it doesnt lose strenght minutes after applying, LESS IS MORE.

not to my liking
Accepting that everyone's hair is different, and having used various creams and gels for years, perhaps I received an old item, as all I can say is "yuk". This is as think as putty or play dough, and certainly not to my liking or styling.

Not for me, maybe the product for you?
First I think it's important to preface the need to understand your own hair type & look you're trying to achieve. This product is not my personal preference but it might be for you.
Personally I have thick straight hair, typically long on top (2-3") and tapered low along the sides. I like to wear my hair messy with some volume, so I look for wax/clay type products. My undisputed favorite has been 'Hanz De Fuko Claymation' but there's a world of products out there, thought I'd give Styling Concrete a try. Things I look for with hair product:
Emulsification: 4/5 (rubs well between hands. Not sticky)
Smell: 5/5 (oh yeaaaaa)
Hold: 3/5 (thicker hair)
Shine: 0/5 (matte finish)
Application: 3/5 (dries relatively quickly with blowdrying heat)
Overall I would buy again but as a pair with another product.
Styling Concrete works better for me as a pre-styler than a stand alone product.

Amazing hair clay!
This is one of the best hair products that I have ever used. The Le Labo Styling Concrete is more of a clay than a pomade, but it does not leave any residue or get clumpy like some clays do. There is no buildup, and it rinses right off your hands and out of your hair with water. The product has a beautiful aroma that lasts for a few hours and it is light in your hair. The product has a strong hold in dry hair and light hold in damp hair. An excellent product. I switched to this from Aveda’s Grooming Clay, and I have never looked back.

great scent
The scent is great, hold is sub par. I have to use a fiber product from a different company and then use this product for the scent only.

Great for styling
This is a really good product for your hair it is soft feeling in your hands but keeps your hair in place! I think I discovered my new hair product! The only thing, the scent.... For Le Labo to be know for their incredible scents, this doesn't smell like much of anything so of you're looking to scent your hair this does not & that's the reason I purchased it!
