Awesome pitcher for kitchen use
This item is microwaveable. I heated the broth for risotto in this pitcher. SO much easier than getting a pot dirty! It kept the broth warm as I incorporated it into the dish. Great smaller size.

Chipped Easily
I use this product at family gatherings to hold water. It's also convenient to keep next to the sink to fill up when I need to water plants or fill the water bowl for the dogs. However, the spout chipped pretty quickly, and it's a bit disappointing for such an expensive piece.

too shiny
This pitcher has a shiny glaze both inside and out. I would have preferred A matte finish. It is OK. I kept it, don't love it, wouldn't buy it again. Doesn't have the organic feel I was hoping for.
