Crest Patch Diamond Quilted Vest

The Ralph Lauren vest in Litchfield Loden (a beautiful olive green) is a great piece. It's slightly longer than I expected—longer than a nearly identical RL vest I purchased last year—but the rich color more than makes up for it. I’m not a huge fan of the combination of zipper and buttons, as I think the design would look sleeker with buttons alone. That said, the pockets are well-placed and functional, and I appreciate the side buttons that allow for a more tailored fit at the waist. One small modification I made was using a seam ripper to remove the large embroidered patch. While it’s well-made, I’ve reached a point where I prefer more understated pieces without prominent branding.
