The nightshirt has a fresh, clean feel and appearance. It is soft, lightweight and flattering. I ordered a size up as Ralph by Ralph Lauren tends to run small across the shoulders. It is cotton knit so will shrink a bit as well.

shrunk after first wash
I am extremely disappointed. I sized up one size per other reviews and upon initial try on the size large fit well. The item had a strange odor out of the package so I washed in cold water with like colors and hung dry. This item shrank at least 1-2 sizes.

Perfect
This soft, comfortable, very feminine night shirt is perfect for those evenings when a robe is too warm and sleeveless is too cool. It washes well using warm water and comes out of the dryer ready to wear again. I like this buy so much I plan to get a second one. I am 5'4", 125 lbs and purchased a medium. It's a perfect fit.

Comfy!
This is a very comfortable sleep shirt with a tiny amount of stretch to it, which I like. I usually wear a medium (or a Size 10) in my clothing, but I needed a Large in this. I've found from past purchases that RL sleepwear runs small.
It did shrink the tiniest bit in the wash, even though I washed it in the delicates cycle, dried it for only 20 minutes on low heat, and then hung it to dry. I'm really glad that I bought the larger size! However, it also softened quite a bit after the first wash, so it is very nice for sleeping.
