Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact SPF 20

I have been a huge fan of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and so was excited to try this. Pros: Great color match, easy to use. Cons: Has more chemical sunscreen than the liquid and while it's the creamiest compact I've ever used, it's still dries to a more powdery finish than the liquid. The liquid is nearly invisible on my skin while the compact has that tell-tale powdery finish. As a note, I have VERY dry skin and am in my 40s, so if you have oily skin or are younger, this might not be an issue for you at all. This is a really nice product, but I'm comparing it to a product I absolutely love and it falls a bit short.

Have used the regular LM tinted moisturizer in the past and recently become and fan of Estee Lauder BB Creme. The BB Creme has good coverage but is a bit "sticky" for want of a better word - I can feel it on my skin, as if I am wearing a heavy moisuirizer, so I wanted to cry the LM compact. It doesn't seem to give much coverage with just a swipe, you need to pile it on a bit. Also, the sponge is pretty useless unless you rub it well in to the make-up. I use my fingers to cover the main parts of my face and just finish it with the sponge. Still deciding if it's a keeper. It does feel nice and natural though and lasts quite well. Hopefully there will be an influx of BB compacts now...

I like the tinted moisturizer in a tube a lot, but it's too runny for air travel. Decided to try this one, with some trips coming up. I definitely get more coverage if I apply with a dry sponge. I like it better applied with a slightly damp sponge. Some have noted it's drier than the TM in a tube, so I make sure to apply heavy moisturizer before this. I'm satisfied with how it lasts, even without a finishing powder. The color is my match, as per Nordstrom's LM sales associate. I think the compact is cute. All in all, I'm quite pleased with this product.

this product is covering yet light, does not leave lines, and does not dull the skin. especially important at age 62 however my 28 year old daughter also loves it!

Easy to apply, light, and natural looking. Like to wear it on my days off instead of full makeup. Love it!

Perfect color match, using the color from my tinted moisturizer liquid. Great packaging. As noted by another reviewer, this product leaves a drier look, much less dewy than the moisturizer in the tube. Good for touchups and for travel, though.
