What it is: A gift set with a blurring, talc-free, translucent loose setting powder and a velour puff for a soft-focus finish that lasts.

What it does: This lightweight translucent loose powder instantly smoothes and blurs the look of pores, fine lines and imperfections for a soft-focus finish that lasts. Infused with hyaluronic acid, amino acid and silica powders, it hydrates skin, improves the look of the skin barrier and controls shine without feeling heavy. Paired with a velour puff, it delivers comfortable, seamless wear with a naturally perfected look.

Set includes:
- Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur (0.7 oz.)
- Velour Puff

How to use: Preparing the puff is key: Press the Velour Puff into the loose powder and work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, then tap off any excess on back of hand. Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in. Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.

Pro tip: Set cream complexion products before applying powder color products.

The best setting powder for dry skin

I have really dry skin, live in a hot and humid climate here in North central Florida, and I'm 37 with wrinkles from genetics (thanks dad) and I have the hardest time trying to find a setting powder or any powders for that matter that doesn't dry my skin out or settle in fine lines and wrinkles and I finally found one in this Laura Mercier one, the original Laura mercier I couldn't use, it was too drying for me but this one is magic in a jar. It also makes my makeup last 10 times linger than it usually does which is amazing to me. I love how it has no talc and that it looks so natural on the skin, it's not super matte which I hate matte products on my dry skin, this fits the bill for everything I look for in a setting powder plus some so if you're looking for a powder that is great for dry skin, I highly recommend this one. It also pairs beautifully with the new Laura mericer blue foundation, I highly recommend using the ysl touche esclat blur primer with it, they are amazing together.

Talc Free For The Win!

I tried the regular LM powder and don’t understand the hype, it just looked heavy on my face. This no talc version works great, not heavy looking and really does blur the pores. I have combo skin, but really don’t like the matte, sucked the life out of me look. This controls oils, but is not dry looking. Use sparingly.
