Stickgloss Sheer Lipstick

I bought the "Stickgloss" in the color brown sugar. I have light to medium brown (yellow based) African-American skin tone. The lipstick color comes off as light mauvy pink with a little glimmer. It's great for every day and gives enough coverage to make me look like I have a complete make-up look on. The formula is creamy and moisturizing and without eating or drinking, I can get about 2 hours of opaque wear and another 2 hours of residual color. I do wear a department store quality lip pencil with the lipstick. The con is that the tube is smaller, seems like less product than my average lipstick, but I have not checked the unit weight. Also, because of the consistency of the lipstick, it got a little messy and smeared in the tube. However, warm temputures in my house (humid) while in my purchase may have contributed to the melty-messiness, but if you like to apply lipsticks with a lip brush, this formula is perfect for extracting a good amount of color with one swipe. Overall, the color pay- off is nice, th consistency is moisturizing and it feels nice on the lips. For those used to creamier/stain lipsticks or matte lipsticks, you will have to deal with the fact that this (at this color) does not stay on long, but also doesn't leave an unflattering nasty residue behind when it wears off, like some othre "long-wearing department store brand, lipsticks.

The Stickgloss is very creamy and moisturizing. I ordered the color Peony as it looked very pretty online. It’s a little darker than I expected but will probably work. I’ve been a long time user of Laura Mercier’s Sheer Lip Color and have loved both the color and creaminess of Baby Lips, Bare Lips and Healthy Lips. Will probably go back to using those.

"Rosewater" is a beautiful pink/coral color that looks great with my fair complexion, golden blond hair and hazel eyes. The Stickgloss is lightweight but packs plenty of color. It is not just a lip gloss. It feels smooth and emulsifying. This is the second LM lipstick I have purchased, and I am very happy with it. I will stick with this brand!

I purchased Laura Mercier Stickgloss Lip Color in Rosewater. I live in a very dry climate and my lips are constantly parched. Most lip balms, glosses or other lip moisturizers always fall short of my expectations. I have finally found the perfect product to moisturize my lips, to give me perfect color and to have staying power. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a desire for soft lips with beautiful stay-put color!

I went crazy and bought three shades based on reviews (no Nordstrom counter in my state) and surprisingly all three were gorgeous. I feel lucky that not one of them was less than beautiful. I bought Maple, Brown Sugar and Poppy. Not only do they look wonderful but they also feel great on the lips, very moist and silky. Hard to pick a favorite among them but I have to go with Maple. For what it's worth I have light to medium skin with warm gold undertones and brown hair with dark blonde highlights.

I love Laura Mercier's Stickgloss Sheer Lipstick. They are moisturizing and the color stays long enough considering this is a gloss. The color is also just enough for everyday use. Being 63 and fair-skinned, I need some color on my lips, otherwise, I looked very washed out. I don't always want all the color/tint of a lipstick so the Stickgloss is a great option. I've used Peony and liked it very much. I decided to switch to Purple Haze for the summer and I'm loving the color. It's a shade lighter than Peony and I can see using them both interchangeably.
