What it is: Set your makeup on the go with this soft, ultra-light pressed powder.
Who it's for: Anyone with normal to dry skin types.
What it does: This ultra-light pressed powder is made with micro-refined silica for an incredibly soft, silky feel. It floats weightlessly on skin to set and smooth your makeup wherever you go, giving skin a natural, shine-free finish. The invisible shade is colorless on skin, so it works on all skin tones. Like all Laura Mercier setting powders, it has a soft-focus effect that subtly blurs the look of fine lines and imperfections. It doesn't settle into fine lines or pores and never looks cakey.
How to use: Dab the applicator onto the pressed powder, then lightly press onto the back of your hand to remove excess. Gently press the puff onto your skin using a pat and roll motion. As with all setting powders, apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.

Does its job
This is a setting powder and not for color or shimmer
It sets makeup perfectly and does not look powdery or cake-y or dusty
I also use it on my eyelids for everyday look to keep my eyeliner from transferring to my lids - it does not show but set the eyeliner and also makes my eyelids a little brighter without a eye shadow look
Sets the t-zone nicely

Broke in less than 2 weeks
Been using this compact for years. Recently purchased it again and I hate the new packaging. The compact in inconveniently large, I can’t fit it in my going out purse anymore. And the entire piece of pressed powder fell out & shattered when I was using it just 2 weeks after I bought it. I do NOT recommend this product anymore. It’s a shame because it was my longtime favorite.

Good sheer powder but breaks apart quickly
This is a nice sheer powder that lasts about 1/2 a day before reapplication is needed. I have had this compact for a week and it is already starting to break apart. For the price that is very disappointing. I will not purchase this again.

Good setting powder
I purchased this because I wanted a powder that wasn't messy like loose powder and wouldn't change the color of my base. I was not disappointed witheither aspect. I prefer to apply this with a brush instead of the included puff and the result is a soft finish with good shine control. The packaging is rather flimsy-my only complaint about this product.

Fragile Goods
This is pretty much an equivalent to the loose powder; but in a convenient compact. Obviously, I still continue to use with a brush. You do have to handle with extreme care as it shatters. If you're clumsy/careless about your personal goods, I don't recommend it. However, if you handle as you would your sunglasses - which is putting it away in its' rightful case ( for this: in your make up bag ) and not slamming it in your purse like loose keys, then you'll be fine. I'm a busy mom running about and I was safe until I got close to the end, in which case, it shattered - but by then, I saw it as loose powder to go.

Easy and effective
I don’t do make up but mostly around the eye areas if I do. This invisible setting powder helps to prevent smear.

Powder for face
The powder does what it is supposed to do. The only problem is it came broken into pieces inside the compact. I can still use it but isn't very helpful.
