The material is cheap and rigid. The tongue will not lay flat and the child foot remains exposed. The Velcro closure does not have a hole to loop through and rather just lies across the inflexible tongue - offering no snug fit. Within 10 days of wearing the shoe the sole has deteriorated about 1/2 inch at the heels. The stitching has begun to come undone. Do not waste time or money on these poorly constructed shoes.
