[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought it was going to be a pain to get rid of the microwave but it is not at all, this thing is very useful. We use it everyday to reheat food and to cook other food. Heats up fast and the little added steamer water cup thing is awesome at reheating food.

BEWARE design flaw!
Was so hopeful when we received the Wonder Oven but on first use we noticed a major design flaw that is anything but non-toxic. Upon heating, the bake tray slightly expands making it impossible to get out of the oven without scrapping the nonstick coating off on both sides. The coating left shavings all on the side and bottom of the oven. Verified that you can use the bake tray in all three height slots and installed correctly. You can slide it out when the oven is fully cooled but that makes it unrealistic. You wouldn’t want to wait that long to get your food out and it’s too small of an opening to reach in while hot. Really wanted this to work but sadly had to return defective oven.

No response from customer service
I just purchased this oven and after reading the instructions and the 2 plus pages plus of “don’t” I contacted customer service twice for clarification with no response. I’m returning it because I’m scared to use it! I used it once as instructed and the results were satisfactory.

Above average, but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Large Wonder Oven has a lot going for it, but there are some design issues and incorrect marketing information that keep it from being great.
First, I LOVED the packaging. This cardboard-based packaging saved our unit from a corner drop, all while being renewable. There’s not much to prep before the recommended first use/burn-in. Although, I did find a piece of protective plastic left on bottom panel, which I removed it prior to burn-in (400°F for 15 minutes - 5 pre + 10 at 400°F)
Everything included is slotted: bake pan, basket, wire racks, everything. With 3 slots, you’ll be storing at least one thing outside the oven from the start, and shuffling racks & trays around as you cook…sometimes hot ones with no good place to put them.
Also, I found the bake pan binds in the rack slots when heated. When I finally got it out, I placed it on the silicone pad that lives on our toaster oven, but part of it rested on the steam water cap. This immediately melted an edge of the cap in the 2 seconds it was there. You have to place things at an awkward angle on top of the Wonder Oven because of the steam cap.
The top remains cool, the sides only get warm, but the back gets very hot. Give it plenty of space in the rear, which you’ll need to do for the vent anyway. Surprisingly the unit does hold heat for a very long time, more like a traditional oven than a toaster oven.
Inside is stainless throughout, with a HUGE light! One correction here though: the usable interior height is 5-¾” from the top of an inverted rack (inverted to gain another ¼”). The listed 7. 75” interior height is top to bottom, past the heating elements and racks. Each shelf rack can hold up to 5 lbs. A thick, 12” cordierite pizza stone comes in at 3. 5 lbs. I’ve made four pizzas so far, and baked a couple dozen small loaves of bread. You can (MUST!) use the bake pan upside down in the top rack mount to reduce direct heat on baked goods. The top element is ALWAYS ON and ALWAYS very hot.
The timer is accurate, and strong. You don’t have to turn past short durations and then back, which is nice…but you also can’t really turn back without forcing the timer. So, there is no time cancel feature. You’ll be running the oven empty occasionally, like toast, where there is simply no good way to judge time.
Steam doesn’t seem to be very steamy, but bread did pop and remain soft, so it does work. Be sure to wait until it is preheated, as recommended. The water dribbles out the center of the fan element, which, if you’re using my tray tip, creates better steam off the bake pan inverted in the top rack spot.
Air Fry isn’t true air fry, but it does crisp up potatoes and breaded goods well. This might be the weakest feature, but it’s better than 95% of the other toaster ovens I’ve used.
In addition to the piece of protective plastic tape left inside, there was a smear on the inside of the glass that would not come off until I used industrial denatured alcohol. Additionally the door isn’t supported well, and will flop down when opened if you don’t support it while opening.
Overall, the large Wonder Oven is above average, but not great. We don’t have an oven at our country house, just this Wonder Oven, a dual induction countertop unit, and a microwave. I bake at least every second day and toast, air fry potatoes, bake fish & casseroles, each and every day. Our Wonder Oven has been used at least once a day since we received it. It leads me to believe the glowing reviews are people that have ovens, that aren’t really relying on the Wonder Oven. The top design with awkwardly placed steam cap, the inability to reduce heat from the top for baking, the timer with no Off option, and misrepresented interior height are all real, daily issues.

Easily exceeded our expectations—wow. Really fantastic find. Love this company.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We researched about two dozen appliances along these lines and the Wonder Oven was hands down the best option. Besides the in-depth info on their site, we sent them a very long and technical list of questions about it—all geared toward safety and non-toxicity. And they sent us back such thorough and professional answers it just blew us away.
This product is impressively well designed and made. It runs circles around the competition. They've really thought it all through. Most of the other customer teams could not even answer our questions much less show respect for product quality. But the Our Place team members were all super helpful and really knew their stuff. Plus they didn't make us feel weird for wanting to know.
The Wonder Oven is a true gem and has been a game-changer in the kitchen. We haven't even tested all the things it can do, yet. But we're looking forward to it. We also love the company now and have come back to get some dishes as well, so far. We'll definitely be back for more.
