Boar bristles and soft nylon pins help distribute the scalp's natural oils while effortlessly detangling and preventing static. The custom one-of-a-kind brush was created using marbled resin made from cellulose acetate derived from wood pulp.

excellent boar bristle brush
This is a beautiful brush, well made and solid. It is perfect for styling for big waves or long hair.
I love boar bristle brushes and have bought several, from Mason Pearson, Raincry, and Altesse.
I bought this as a gift for someone. It’s simply not what they needed, but this brush is excellent for someone who wants boar bristle in a round large brush.
I disagree with the negative reviewers. The grip (if it becomes an issue for you) can be resolved by just putting a rubber band on the handle, but the handle is fine, and the construction is beautiful and elegant. It’s a brush that is made from all natural fibers and resin. If you want rubber and air vents, you can get that for $40.
This is an investment in something that’s actually great for your hair. If I didn’t already have so many boar bristle brushes, I would’ve kept it for myself.

Brush bristles and handle started melting and handle bending within 5 minutes during blow dry. Wow, never seen anything like it.

Great but...
...the handle is slippery, and you cant "pull" on the hair while you are blow drying as much as you want to to get a proper curl. The bristles are fantastic, and the look is so nice, its like an "heirloom" quality brush. I expect to buy the flat brush and teasing brush soon.
If Oribe could make the handle with rubber traction on it, this brush would be perfect!

Ouch!. Stiff bristles tear hair bruise and scalp.
This brush is scraping and bruising my scalp. The bristles are so stiff. Looks and feels more nylon bristles than boar’s hair.

Nice brush. I like it but gave 3 stars because it is very expensive and I don't think it's worth so much. I would buy it again, as a gift, if it was priced better. The handle is pretty. I added a rubber band to help with slippage.

Beautiful Brush
Beautiful and quality brush. The handle is luxurious and while I haven't used yet the bristle appear firm enough to hold the hair well for a smooth finish but not sharp to avoid breakage. It is quite heavy but I am very happy all the same - except that before I have had the chance to use it, it's in the sale but that is life I guess!
