Details & care

Robust lock-tight handle keeps food in and pets out. Silicone gasket forms an airtight seal so food stays fresh. Convenient scoop attaches magnetically under the lid. Large capacity (30-35 lb/14-16 kg) is ideal for storing dog or pet food, or other bulk items like flour, rice, sugar or charcoal.

Sturdy attractive dog food container

Simple Human great quality. Absolutely no plastic odor or odor of any kind. It keeps our dog food very fresh. The latch is very secure and easy to use. I don’t use the built in scoop because I have to measure food exactly for our four dogs do they don’t gain weight.

Does NOT hold 32lbs kibble

I bought to store kibble that comes in 32lb bags—the container barely holds 20lbs. But turns out I like the concept so kept it and have found storage for the remainder of food until I need it. Ridiculous considering the price though.

Finally a good container my cat can’t break into!

Our one cat was a stray and we are firmly convinced she is part raccoon. She has managed to break into every container, drawer or cupboard where we store the cat food. Not any more! It doesn’t even register that there is food in the container. She totally ignores it. Big 5 stars!!!!

Beautiful and perfect storage

This dog food container is an incredible idea. Easy storage, keeps food fresh. The container is sleek and hides the unsightly bag. I recommend this container, highly.

Poor Locking & Sizing

I usually absolutely love their products, but in this case, I was very disappointed. The sizing on the website was incorrect as it relates to the pounds of food that will fit. If you’re looking for something that will fit a 28 bag of dog food, do not go with the large. You actually have to go with the biggest one for that to fit. Another issue has been the locking mechanism. It’s very loose and does not line up properly so the freshness is at risk unless you make sure it locks and you actually have to pull it to the left for it to even align properly. Again, I’ve never had issues with their products before, so I really wanted to share this.

Pet Food Can

I have been eyeing this can for years and finally just broke down and bought it. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. It's very sturdy and nicely made. I'm glad that I finally bought it.
