Lane Chevron Maxi Sundress

Since this dress is a Chevron print I would expect the points of the Chevron stripes to at least be centered down the middle of the dress like the picture. The dress I received had fabric that was cut in such a way that the Chevrons were way over to one side of the dress. It looked bizarre like a kindergarten sewing project. It was completely unwearable and should never have passed quality control. I was aware that the Chevrons would likely not match up as other reviews had indicated but this was a whole different story. It looked like I had the dress on sideways but there’s a zipper down the middle of the back so there was nothing I could do about it. It’s also a little bit shapeless. Really poor execution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material seems like it would shrink very easily and the pattern is slightly off center. This dress runs smaller than other dresses I’ve ordered. I had to size up and im not big busted I’m pretty average . There is no support for even small C boobs. It just squishes them down. It’s very pretty just will be a high maintenance dress.

This dress is above and beyond expectations. The fabric is light and airy with a subtle linen-like look. Love that the straps are optional. I'm 5' 8", 34B, 135lbs and the S is perfect--could possibly size down for a more snug fit. Added bonus: believe it or not, it has pockets!
