Wonderful

I wanted to treat myself to a new red polish so I splurged on Lancome, "Lovered 171B." This color was the perfect, classy, lady-like red, almost retro red. I have been looking for a red like this for years. It lasted five days before it chipped a little bit. I do use gloves for washing dishes and cleaning up, so that might have helped the polish last longer, but my other high end polish brands haven't lasted this long even with gloves. I am impressed. I love this shade of red the best. Also, the brush is wider than normal and it's easy to apply it yourself. I highly recommend. I am about to treat myself to another color from this line. FYI: the bottle is smaller than other brands you might be used to.

Disappointed

After having spent the last 45 minutes on a manicure, I need to take it off and start over with another brand. Mess! The brush is too wide, too flat to do a nice job near the cuticles and on the sides. Definitely needs 2 coats. I've never used Lancome nail polish before. I was looking for a coral shade but not too orange. The clerk tried 350M on my nail and we agreed it looked perfect. But outside the store, it is a rose color. I gave it one star but I can't honestly even think of one nice thing to say about Lancome nail polish.

difficult

I bought this polish for the color. I usually stick with nail brands: Essie, OPI, Deborah Lippman, and Butter. I was really disappointed by this polish. The brush is a wide fan (never used this before), so honestly it was too wide for my pinky nails. This type of brush made touch ups impossible. Furthermore, I had a hard time gliding down the length of my nail. The tips just look terrible (and I don't have long nails). I also had to take a pair of tweezers to pull out a stray hair that kept painting my skin because it came out the side of the brush at a 90 degree angle. Too much work! I would never buy a Lancome nail polish again though I think their skin care is wonderful.

Best Nail Polish

Have used Lancôme "Vernis In Love" nail polish for years and found it to be one of the best on the market. Colors are gorgeous and application effortless thanks to the unique brush. Best of all, the polish lasts a surprisingly long time with a good top coat. Love adding to my color collection.
