Le Crayon Khôl Eyeliner

Over the years I think I've pretty much tried every method of eye lining that is or has been on the market. I always come back to the Lancome Le Crayon Kohl eyeliner pencil. It's easy to use, makes a nice thin line or thicker if you want that look. It's easy to sharpen, doesn't keep winding away in the sharpener down to a stub as some brands do. You can smudge it or leave it as is and it doesn't come off or melt down to your lower lid. I've used it over powdered shadow and cream, it goes on great on both. There are a limited number of colors but there is one to go with everything. I love the Gris Noir and Black Coffee (dark brown) shades.

I love this Eyeliner! I use it on the inner rim of my eyes and it stays on all day. I only use it on the bottom as it makes my eyes look awake and bright, even when tired, or over stressed. Of course I use Le Crayon Khol Eyeliner in Black Ebony on my top lids close to the lash line as on the bottom. Only on the outer eyelids, do I use Black Ebony. if I want to lighten The dark color a bit, I put this on my outer lids with the Black Ebony over it for a different look. It's fun. Applying makeup is an art! You are the artist and your face is the canvas. My mother always told me, "Never Scrimp on your face or your shoes!" I say, why scrimp on anything? This pencil is versatile and fun. If makeup and skin care isn't something that you look forward too everyday, you are using the wrong brand!

I've been using the Black Coffee (top eyelid) + Moss colors (bottom lid) for about 40 years now. I have tried top-named department store eyeliners but none as good as this pencil. It glides on smoothly and truly "pops" your eyes--tired-looking eyes -be gone ! Hope Lancôme continues to produce this fine product. Always a convenience, too, to order online @ Nordstrom, as my store is about 38 miles away.

I have tried them all, from most to least expensive. this is the best. I have used it for 30+ years and hope they never stop making this liner. The black lapis is a rich deep blue, the more you coat it the darker it becomes. It's beautiful for blue, gray, and hazel eyes. You just can't go wrong with Lancome eye make up.

I have long been a fan and user of Lancome's Khol Eyeliners......generally only in the dark brown colors. I am quite pleased with the Black Lapis (blue spectrum) and would give this a 5 star rating if only the 'smear factor' were diminished a bit. The blue color tends to 'bleed' to the area beneath my lower eyelid rather badly. Having tried to modify the application to prevent this.....and failing......I'm assuming that it is the pencil itself and not my inexpert technique. Oddly, I have used the dark brown khol eyeliner for years and never had the problem!

I did not like this eye liner at all. It is too soft and it keeps breaking every time I sharpen it. After a week it is half it's original size. I have used Lancone eyeliner for years. I liked the old formula much better. I will go to anothr brand now.
