Maquicomplet Complete Coverage Concealer

I have tried numerous concealers over the years from the cosmetics floor of Nordstroms and none compare to Lancome's Maquicomplet as far as color, texture, coverage, wear and ease of use. I have fair skin that tans easily, blue eyes, dark blonde complexion and the 'Ivoire' color has always been great. I use it mostly under the eyes and on sun spots and I find that you can easily build up the product to be heavier if you so desire. It is never oily yet feels hydrating (never any caking or lines) and stays in place through a whole day of tropical humidity, that is saying a lot! The wand is super easy for application, the only reason I took away a star is because I can never really tell how much product I have left until I run out... Would be nice if it was in a transparent tube.

I love Lancome, only use their mascara but never tried anything else really except for the lip gloss which is not bad but nothing can be as good as mascare. I always use the concealer called "amazing cosmetics" and believe me that is the best when you have a nasty pimple but the problem is, it goes on rather heavy to hide the bad stuff, the easy stuff regular pharmacy stuff can do but to do a heady duty job, you need some play around time and put this stuff on heavy even though believe me a little goes a long way. Decided to try the Lancome concealer and loved it, No it is not as good as amazing cosmetics but it is SO light, you can't ever tell you have it on and while it does not cover the heavy duty stuff 100% like the other, it is dam close with such a light feel. I saw that no one reviewed this item and I wanted to spread the word about it, trust me, if you dont have big heavy duty problems, this is the item to buy as with all Lancome, you will be not disappointed. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because if you do need a heavy duty concealer skip this and purchase amazing cosmetics, however if most of the time you need that little picker upper, you cannot beat this. Trust me

I have awful under-eye circles, no matter how much sleep I get. This, paired with their face powder, has really helped. It isn't oily, and stays put all day (and through the night when I can't get home to wash it off). The powder I use is the Ageless Mineral one (Translucent), and it has just a touch of pink in it which really helps it blend into my cheeks. I've tried Laura Mercer's in the past, and liked it, but this one does an even better job without being as thick and heavy.

I love Lancome and have used many of their makeup products over the years. Most recently I have been using Bobbi Brown's Creamy Concealer. I certainly like that product, but thought I would give Lancome a try. I think the coverage it provides is comparable, but the product itself is very different. Bobbi's is thick and creamy while Lancome's is a bit thinner. I am very fair skinned, and the Ivoire is a great match for me. Even though this has its own applicator, I still prefer to apply it with a brush. You get much better control where you are placing the product if you use a brush. This works well for dark circles and red marks. Nice soft matte finish that doesn't settle into fine lines and lasts all day. Lovely product.

This has exclusively been my concealer for years, because it is the BEST. I have medium skin with yellow undertones, so I use the Correcteur shade. It blends wonderfully and lasts all day. It is great to use under makeup or powder, and it also works great for touch-ups if needed. I won't ever buy anything else! It's not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny. It also lasts a long time; I only buy about one tube per year. As always, Nordstrom's service and shipping (always free! thank you!) are excellent.
