Magie Noire Eau de Toilette Natural Spray

I wore Lancôme Magie Noire when it was first introduced, and for many years thereafter. It disappeared and I wasn't able to find it anywhere. I was told by many that it was discontinued. I just found it again at Nordstrom; however, it is definitely not the same beautiful fragrance from years past. I am not happy with Lancôme reformulating this precious perfume, which is now eau de toilette loaded with alcohol and a soapy smell! I am beyond disappointed. Lancôme ruined the bottle, too! Why did Lancôme destroy Magie Noire?!? Bring back the original, please.

I have been wearing Magie Niore daily/ all the time , for approximatly 30 years, since it came out. I loved the smell . Then they changed it-it is not the same at all! I ordered it a couple times, and was very dissapointed . and that the name is the same, it is not Magie Niore,why do they call it that? My kids say,"it smells like mom". Now I am searching for a new signature scent. Regrettably. Havent found one yet. I sure wish Lancolm would offer the original Magie Niore, even if it costs more, whatever! And the lotion, cream, soap & powder too!...Sad in Washington.

The formula has changed since 30 years ago (just like all of us have been changed with the time, honestly) . The concept remained the same though. And the same anchor takes me to good old times when our Moms were wearing it. Very nostalgic fragrance to me. I use it only once in a while, because I want this scent to continue remain special to me.

This is my girlfriend's favorite perfume, she won't use any other. I tried for months to get this product from Lancome for my girlfriend's Christmas present and got nothing but a continual run around, both online and over the telephone. Nordstrom supplied it with no hassle at all. Bless you Nordstrom for your competent and efficient organization.
