If the color name indicates Metatarsal, then the footbed has a build-in Metatarsal pad. The ABEO Laguna (formerly Maddie) is our popular sandal that offers all-day comfort, support and stability. Premium built-in orthotics help to reduce foot fatigue, shock and stress on joints, while also providing arch support. Built-In Orthotic Insole offers arch support, stability and comfort for long-term durability. Leather Uppers provide stylish support with a classic Y-shaped design (Ditzy Floral uses a canvas fabric upper). EVA Footbed & PU Midsole makes for a cushioned and supportive lightweight sandal. Molded Rubber Outsole for traction, grip and shock absorption. Water Friendly, with the exception of the Ditzy Floral and Metallic options. New Model of the Balboa sandal.

Very comfy!

Do not stay in place on foot when walking
I really wanted to like these but the fit is strange and even though I tried two different sizes they just don’t stay in place on my foot when I walk. And unfortunately the return policy is 90 days from the time you place the order, not from when you receive them. It was a surprise to me and there is no flexibility on the part of either The Walking Co or Nordstroms, and so because I was about a week over 90 days from delivery, I am now stuck with 2 identical pairs of shoes I can’t wear. So overall a pretty bad purchase and experience.

Beautiful But Extremely High Arch
Love slides, so these were exactly what I wanted in quality, color, style. The Raffia is lovely and perfect for summer. I wear a 9, but reading reviews, ordered 8.5 and they're perfect length. BUT, I've never tried on a shoe with such an incredibly high arch! They hurt my feet, very difficult for me to walk. If the arches were decreased by half, I'd keep these and get a second pair in another color. If you need VERY high arches, snap them up.

Another Disappointment
I’ve been buying this brand for at least 10 years. The last few years construction materials have changed and I don’t find these shoes as functional as they used to be. Based on reviews, I ordered a half size down, I probably could’ve gone down a full-size. And I do believe they are on the wide side and even though they are adjustable, the shoe is still wide. The biggest issue is the foot bed and the material of the foot bed. My foot does not stay secure in the shoe and I find my foot slipping around as I walk. I really wish whoever designs these shoes would go back to the original foot beds, which were during and prior to Covid.
