ABEO offers a Metatarsal footbed option with a built-in metatarsal pad for every shoe style. Metatarsal pads help relieve forefoot pressure and pain. If the color name indicates Metatarsal, then the footbed has a build-in Metatarsal pad. The ABEO Laguna (formerly Maddie) is our popular sandal that offers all-day comfort, support and stability. Premium built-in orthotics help to reduce foot fatigue, shock and stress on joints, while also providing arch support. Built-In Orthotic Insole offers arch support, stability and comfort for long-term durability. Leather Uppers provide stylish support with a classic Y-shaped design (Ditzy Floral uses a canvas fabric upper). EVA Footbed & PU Midsole makes for a cushioned and supportive lightweight sandal. Molded Rubber Outsole for traction, grip and shock absorption. Water Friendly, with the exception of the Ditzy Floral and Metallic options. New Model of the Balboa sandal.

Normal vs Metatarsal / 1/2" Bigger than Nike
The arch is in the right place and the right height for my foot. I also tried the metatarsal which has a big bump right under the "ball" of your foot which wasn't comfortable. Compared to my Nike Pegasus shoes they run 1/2" big.

Stitching is not comfortable
I really wanted to love these since the ABEO Balboa is no longer an option. But, I've tried different ones and the way the zigzag stitching is exposed on the bottom, it irritates/scratches the top of my foot.

Happy Feet!

Run large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always take size 7, exchanged these shoes twice down to a size 5. Hope they will soften in time, good support but not as comfortable as they look.

Good support

Runs a little big but great sandal
I typically wear a 6.5 M. That is the size I ordered. I felt the strap width was a little wide, giving me the feeling that these were too big. I decided to keep them because the toe to heel seemed about right. Took a couple days to get use to the arch, but now I wear them all the time. Only shoe that has helped my burning foot pain. I’m ordering more.
