Lady Strapless Midi Dress

I got this for my rehearsal dinner and it is beyond beautiful. I will say that it was tough to zip up. I got a small DD. I'm 5'10, 157 lbs., 34D. My measurements are bust 37.5, waist 29, hips 40. I had to pull it over my head and squeeze the zipper together to get it on but I was able to do it myself, with help it would be easier. There's also a bra strap with hook and eye inside and internal corset which is really nice. I'll probably have to tailor the top because I'm on the verge of falling out, I would say the top is a little big on me and I didn't necessarily need the plus cup option but although it's a squeeze I'm glad I got the small because it gives me the snatched look I wanted.

Unfortunately, the House of CB size chart is not always accurate. I have a size small in the Aubrie Corset and a medium in the Noa Corset (that I originally bought in a small and had to return). Bought a small in Lady because I thought it would fit like the Aubrie corset, and could barely zip it up. Had to return. For reference, I am pear shaped and my measurements are 30-26-36 inches (bust-waist-hips). Per their size chart, I would be a small in tops (even an XS bust wise). I'm usually an XS/S (US 2-4) in tops and dresses. Unfortunately, a medium in the Lady would be too big in the chest for me, otherwise, it is beautiful and high quality! Best to try on in store without having to return/exchange due to sizing.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I had my eye on this for months. The quality is phenomenal with the thick fabric and the tulle on the inside of the skirt to make it poof out. The one thing is that the bust area is very revealing. One look from the side reveals the whole shape of your boob. It's basically all out except the nipple. There is no support there on the front but there are two straps on the inside around the back. It's the perfect length for me. I am 5'5 and 115ish pounds and I got a size S. It is very tight on my torso, though and it immediately becomes uncomfortable after a few minutes to the point where even when I took it off, I was uncomfortable for another 15 minutes. I have a size 26 in. waist so that's something to consider.

This dress looks beautiful from the waist down. It is quite heavy but very structured and sucks you in, making you look snatched. The chest area on the other hand is a disaster. I tried the L in store and the boob area didn't fit (36DD). I ordered the D/E cup online and I can honestly say the top flaps were the same size as the smaller bust and not larger for coverage. Instead, what they did was actually just make the dress larger. So instead of a L, it was an L plus. The entire dress was larger, not just the bust area. Half my boobs were in the boning area still and if I sat down, my breasts literally spilled out of the dress- you cannot wear this is public. I'm wondering if that's what they do for other sizes, like if you're M, do they just give you L for D/E cup. It was ridiculous for this price- please do a better job and accommodate larger busts because this was a joke. The average chest size is 34DD in the US and 36DD in the UK. I've had the most issues with dress & swimwear designers who still ignore the majority of the female population's body types.
