Lacoste
René Lacoste, a tennis champion and bon vivant nicknamed "the Crocodile," introduced the first-ever cotton polo shirt in 1933. He embroidered it with an open-jawed crocodile, never imagining that the logo would become an enduring symbol for fun-loving preppies everywhere. Today, the Lacoste lifestyle brand represents relaxed elegance, elevated leisure pursuits and a perennial devotion to quality.

Ordered this shirt in navy for my little brother. Typical polo shirt. I believe this fit is a little looser than some other styles manufactured by Lacoste. But I have noticed that if you take care of these shirts, wash inside out and hang to dry, they are very durable and last quite some time.

No Dry Clean
I have purchased lacoste polo shirts a couple of times and compared to Ralph Lauren these so called alligator shirts are cheaply designed and the worse is that you cant even dry clean ant lacoste clothing. Lacoste looks great the first time you wear it and thats all, cause after that they shrink so much and after awhile the stitching comes undone.

Poor quality for the price
I have bought several of the Lacoste polos for my husband. He's a big guy, and tall (6'3, XXL). The most annoying thing is that the Lacoste polos shrink upwards, making the shirt too short on him, but no less wide- and this is after line-drying. Lord knows how bad it would be if you popped one in the dryer. The fit is subsequently really boxy and awful. This seems to be a consistent quality problem with Lacoste. The only nice thing I can say about them is that they usually come in lovely colours. I won't be buying them again.

Sad Lacoste Polo
These polo's look great and from the look of it they are made of quality material, although they are somewhat short to begin with. When you put the polo in the washer they instantly turn a size smaller in length length wise.
With this item, I wouldn't even recommend getting a size larger because it loses its clean fit which is what Lacoste is all about.
If you are tall, and have a long torso... DO NOT GET THIS POLO!

Overrated
I find the material to be cheap feeling, and have noticed that after only a short period of careful wear and wash that these shirts develop small holes. Also, as mentioned in another review, the length of the shirt begins to shorten after a wash or two no matter how it is cared for. There are two other 'comparable' brands that I feel are superior- choose wisely.

Nice fitting polo
This polo fits well and isn't too long like some polos on my husband; however, the fabric is a bit on the thin side so feel this polo is over priced.
