12.12 Silicone Strap Watch, 42mm

I liked the look of this and was looking forward to receiving it. The prong on the clasp didn't even reach a hole in the band on my wrist. I am 5' 8" tall, weigh a normal weight and wear medium sized shirts and am not overweight or "meaty" by any stretch of the imagination. The description doesn't give band length so this was a surprise especially since this item shows up in the men's watches section. Absurd. Rather than returning it, I gave it to my 10 year old son who loves it. Wish I could be wearing one, too. Of course, I could have swapped the band out, but I don't think that the onus to make sure this fits an average size man's wrist is on me to go and spend more money and time making it right. 1. The Description should give the band length. 2. If you advertise for men then don't send the watch off with a band that doesn't fit average sized men and only children. 3. I notice that on Lacoste's t-shirts there is a note that they run small. In fact, I've ordered one before and had to return it because it was way smaller than the average medium Haines t shirt that I wear around the house. 4. Who is working at Lacoste? Pigmys? "Absurd" and "Ridiculous" even "Small" were taken as display names for this review and wouldn't let me submit that. Thats a bit annoying, too. A lot of things can be absurd or ridiculous. Nordstrom can do better.

The face scratches easily :( I have 2 major scratches and the watch is only 2months old. I own about 8 watches, so I rotate through many, therefore this one isn’t worn every day and still scratches so easily. The band feels solid and I absolutely love the silicone. It’s a simple black watch but stands out on its own.
