What it is: A shaving gel that softens facial hair and helps protect skin while you shave.

What it does: It's formulated with a blend of humectants for a close, comfortable shave that won't leave skin feeling dry. It transforms into a lightweight, easy-to-rinse lather that offers the protection of a cream against razor burn and irritation.
How to use: Start with a dime- to nickel-sized amount and massage into your facial hair, working through to skin underneath. Shave using short strokes in the direction of hair growth. Rinse well. Follow with an after-shave product.

I will buy again
I only shave a few times per week and use very little of this over time so my costs may not be extreme compared to others so I don't mind paying extra for the name. I'm sure cheaper stuff could be just as good but the Lab series brand has done me well for many many years. So until my finances force me to change, I will continue to use it.

Smooth Shave
As a person who does not relish the prospect of shaving, I am continually experimenting with different products which will give me a comfortable and close shave. I have tried creams, gels and oils, never finding the right one. This product comes closest to satisfying my quest. It is a light gel which does not obstruct my vision when shaving, like more commercial thick shaving cream products. It gives me a close and comfortable shave and I am happy to have found it.

Excellent Shaving Cream
I have only used this product for a week and I can tell it will be one of my all-time favorites from Lab Series. A little goes a long way so you do not need a lot of this to shave with. After a week my skin is softer and easier to shave. I use this product every day and so far I have to say it was a good choice for me to order after reading the reviews of others. This product leaves my skin feeling softer and I do not get razor burn using this product. Give it a try and see for yourself!

For the Gel of It!
I find this to be one of the best shaving products on the market. I have used most types of shaving products and find this gel to be one of the best products for sensitive skin types. It has a pleasant fragrance, created from a combination of its ingredients, and not from artificial fumes. For me it is best used in the summer or warmer climates. For a few years, I used high end shaving creams and brushes, which for me gave no better shaves than this gel, and you have the benefit of not needing an abrasive brush of dead badger hair.
