The Hydrating Facial Mask Set of 6

Hands down THE richest sheet mask I've ever used! I was expecting the liquid in here to be like a serum, but it's literally like a tub of thick moisturizer with 2 sheet masks thrown in as an afterthought. From the moment I opened the packaging for the upper and lower mask pieces I could see the sheet within the transparent plastic tray, covered in a thick milky essence. I swiped a little bit off the tray itself, as there was plenty of excess, and rubbed it into the back of my hand. The texture was very rich, even oily, and not just on my hand... after I'd applied the mask for 10 minutes and removed it, there were large patches of the liquid still sat on my skin that hadn't been absorbed (tells me this would suit dry-dehydrated skin very well) and as per instructions I gently massaged this in to my face and neck area. Unlike SK2 masks for example, I didn't find that there was tons of essence left over, it was just sufficient for the single use. I used this straight after a hot shower which is the only time my skin feels parched, but despite that and even once massaged in there was still an oily layer all over my face. Luckily, said heaviness did not equate to acne by the next morning, although having said that I wouldn't like to risk using this on consecutive nights, and at this price point nor would I be inclined to! Did it help relieve the dry, tight feeling on my face after my hot shower? Yes, and then some! All that saturation also gave me a nice dewy glow for the next couple of hours until I got into bed and awoke to my regular-looking skin. But...I could very easily achieve similar results from other brands, without the oiliness and most definitely without the price tag ($250 for 6 pieces). I didn't find the actual sheet mask itself to be of good quality which is disappointing when you're spending this kind of money. In fact it dried right up before the 8 minutes application time was even over and the quality of it just felt cheap. The packaging itself however was luxurious and good quality. Bottom line: If you are veering more towards mature, dry and non-sensitive (it contains fragrance and Eucalyptus oil among other potential irritants) then you might just find this to be a godsend. If you need hydration it will hydrate - make no mistake about that! I have been using these masks for @ 10 years now. They are wonderful They are so loaded with product and oversized, that you can use just the upper [or lower] and smear the excess over your lower [or upper] face, letting you get 12 treatments. Your face is soft and smooth for days and days

This mask is more than OUTSTANDING. I am a big fan of face mask, from cheap Korean ones from Amazon to outrageous pricey ones from La Mer, La Prairie. There are so much product on this mask. After the first use on my face, I save it for next couple of days for my hands and arms, legs.... until I can not squeeze anything out of it. My skin feels so soft, even softer than after using the de cream. $45 per sheet, super expensive, don't throw away after the first use, save it for at least two more days for your hands. Your hands will thank you.

I literally have this on my face right now and it is HEAVEN. I have had many expensive spa facials and this one feels incredible... super hydrating, tingly but without a tingle (if that makes sense).. I have been saving this for about a year because I wanted to break it out only when I really needed it. I feel like my skin has been in a desert and I just found an oasis. La Mer makes amazing products - not cheap, but well worth if you are sparing like me. I need to find out if the La Mer counters demo this at their events because I am so signing up!!

Is it insane to spend this much money on 6 face masks? Absolutely. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. I normally buy nice face masks in the $10-$20 dollar range, so this was an investment for me. But oh my god it's worth it. First of all, the masks have two parts: one for the top of your face, and one for the bottom of your face. Having two parts makes application trivial. I usually have to spend time after I put on masks trying to smooth them out, but that wasn't a problem with this mask. Second, these masks are SATURATED in product. There was excess in the packaging that I massaged into my face afterwards. Finally, it stays in place! I mean it really stays in place. So yes these are insanely expensive, but they are easily 20 times better than face masks in the $10-$20 dollar range, so I would highly recommend them.
