Sequin Trumpet Gown

I purchased 7 dresses from La Femme for an event and this one was the winner. Very flattering and comfortable. The color is gorgeous. I run between a 4-6. I purchased a 6 which fit in the hips and had the waist and bust taken in. It has adjustable straps but they didn’t have much give. The seamstress was able to lengthen them. I measure 35-27-39.

I purchased this dress after trying no less than 50 dresses for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. I didn't think based on the price that this was going to be any different than the many many other dresses I tried on. When I put it on this was the most comfortable dress that I have ever worn to a special event. I was pleasantly surprised. It looked stunning and I received many compliments. I am 53 years old and very tall. I was concerned that the dress would not be appropriate but it was quite flattering. This dress ran a little big, it has padding for chest, adjustable straps and is super stretchy.
