La Droguerie Odor Removing Candle

I already love so many Diptyque candle scents, but this by far is my new favorite! The scent is a cross between another famous French candle maker's basil and mint-tea candle and a famous American designer's tomato-leaf candle. I am about to order four more as gifts. INCREDIBLE scent!

I agree that this candle smells like another well-known French candle maker’s mint tea scent, but this one is better. It lasts longer and the throw is stronger, but not overpowering. The scent is herbaceous, slightly sweet and minty. It’s pleasant and clean without smelling like household cleaner. It’s an open garden window on a sunny day. I think it’s a universally appealing scent that can be used all year.

While I stayed away from this candle because I didn’t care for the label, name, or description (!) I WAS SO WRONG! My sales associate recommended it given my affinity for Baies and some of the other candles and fragrances I love from Diptyque. I AM SO GLAD I PURCHASED - Bought THREE (1 for my mother, 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs) and I would say unlike a lot of candles, I’m really using this. It is the freshest basil with citrusy notes - like lemon verbena - it’s whimsical, delightful, truly amazing. Love that the fragrance lingers and makes the home smell so fresh and pretty. It will always be “in stock” at my home! Hope they continue to make this amazing candle!!!
