Kids' Mini Laney Bow Sneaker

I sent this to KG on Day 3 of wear: We recently purchased one of your products at Nordstrom. New to the brand, we were excited because our daughter hand-picked your Mini Laney Bow shoes. They are so cute, and she loves them! Unfortunately, the bow kept detaching from the shoe. Now, it is lost. She is so disappointed, so I am reaching out to see if this can be rectified. The shoes were only purchased and worn less than one week. Their response was as follows: Thank you for your email and we are sorry to see this has happened. As confirmed that this was purchased in Nordstrom, for assistance with your purchase, please liaise with their customer service team using the link here. They will have their own processes and procedures in place to help you with this! Though I appreciate KG's prompt response, I thought that buyers should beware that there is a manufacturer's defect with these shoes, and that they would not get much remedy with KG. It is at the buyer's discretion to purchase these very cute shoes, but know that the bows are attached with metal brackets that do not hold the bow permanently. I could easily reattach the bow with my hands. The way that the bows are loose on the end, not attached to the shoe, the rub from walking and bumping, causes the bows to come off. At this price point, and the lack of KG problem-solving, I cannot recommend these shoes. Try the New Balance Zebra shoes! They are so light, and cute. I was trying to convince my LO to choose those. :)

My 3 year old fashionista picked these out herself. She was obsessed. I will say just like all the other reviews that the bow does come off easily. However, I’m a determined mama and as long as the metal piece is still attached I have found gorilla super glue does wonders for keeping the bows on. Not ideal for the amount of money paid but my daughter wears them all the time and she’s happy so that’s what counts. Just stock up on that glue and you will have one happy kid.

These shoes are absolutely adorable, but they are not worth what they cost. I really wouldn’t waste money on these because my granddaughter wore them a couple of times and they came apart. I replaced them once but they were worse the second time. They are made very cheaply for as much as they cost. This is both shoes :(

These shoes are adorable. I wouldn’t have picked them out for my daughter myself, but she loves sparkles and so these caught her eyes. They’re stylish and seem comfortable, but the first day my daughter wore these to school she came home with one of the bows in her backpack. Apparently, it fell off during the classroom dance break. Thankfully, Nordstrom has an excellent return policy and while the employee side eyed us slightly upon the return, they accepted the return nonetheless.
