Bog oak is timber preserved in bogs for centuries, naturally darkened to brown, dark brown or black-brown — genuinely rare, and polished with fine oils to a silky-matt seal. The fixed head shaves very close and can edge with precision — no plastic cartridges, no moving parts. Blades swap simply by unscrewing the cap.
