Challis Mule (Women)

Shoes came ahead of schedule. Love the shape and style of the shoes. The online pic and description does not show that they are distressed. The shoes I received- One of the shoes looks and feels almost as if it's been worn for a year and the other one doesn't. They look like they are from two diff pairs of shoes. They don't have them in store, and I really like them, so not sure if I exchange them online the same thing will happen. For paying over $150 with tax, I expect better. The shoes should at least match. The pics don't look as distinct as in person.

Like many people, I’ve barely gotten dressed from the waist down since March 2020. I moved this year to a more northern part of the south, and it’s already in the 50s. Birks won’t cut it. I decided to try these because they slip on, and they have a heel (so maybe I can wear them if I ever need to work irl again?). They’re amazing. Beautiful leather (I got light brown), super comfy, slip right on… I’ve gotten tons of compliments from fashionable women. Little do they know I’m just super lazy. Buy these!!!

I saw these on another site, but went straight to Nordstrom because I trust my Nordys.. For reference, I am a true 7.5 with a wider foot width and a high arch. I read the reviews extensively, but ultimately decided to get my normal size. Upon trying them on, I can see where people may think they need a bigger size, because my heal was right at the edge of the mule. But I knew being leather, they would most likely stretch and my foot could move down in the shoe. The width of the shoe was not an issue, I do not feel like they were too tight. I'm very glad I stayed with my true size. I have worn them to work every day this week and they are immediately comfortable. They are stylish and I am very happy with my purchase. 10/10 would recommend!

I love the look of these shoes when I saw them in a competitors catalog. Was hoping that I found a good pair of heels with functionality. First, they are a tad small. My heel barely fits inside the shoe and I am traditionally an 8.5 in most shoe styles. Not sure if going up a size is going to change the way the shoe itself fits around the foot. That part is just the right snugness. Second, as another reviewer mentioned, the shoe leather is wrinkled on one shoe while the other is smooth leather. I’ve been finding this the case with three different brand shoes that I have purchased from Nordstrom in the past six months. Brands included a pair of Sam Edelman cowboy booties and a pair of Sam Edelman loafers. Wondering if it is a quality supply issue with leather for shoe manufacturers. My recommendation, try these on in person to see if they fit and that the leather isn’t subpar with two different looking shoes. Nordstrom you should be better about quality control and spinning defects off like this to Nordstrom Rack.

I’m obsessed with Korkease shoes. I have the Sagganos in three different colors, and I’ve recently bought the Darby clogs in black and brown, and the Drew platform sandals in black and brown. All of those styles have a platform and are super comfortable. Unfortunately this style isn’t a platform and there is very little padding for the forefoot. Also, the leather for this style is so soft that I feel like it’s stretched too much. My foot slides side to side in these and I don’t have a narrow foot. (I was a dancer for 15 years, and my forefoot is slightly wider than normal, but not nearly wide enough for width shoes.) They’re still great shoes, and really cute, they just aren’t my favorites.
